Mangrove Kayak Tour in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Have you heard of the estuary in Damas Island? Well, it is a spectacular mangrove located about 20 minutes from Manuel Antonio. The water is extremely calm and there are a lot of animals to see which makes it a great place to do kayaking.
The following is a short names of the wildlife that can be seen: white-faced monkeys, anteaters, boa constrictors, iguanas, crocodiles, turtles, crabs, and countless number of bird species.
This is a wonderful tour for couples, families and anyone that enjoys being in nature. It is very easy to use a kayak, even if it is your first time, you will have no trouble. We always recommend our customers to bring a camera, as you will want to capture the beautiful views of the Damas Estuary.
There is the option of booking a single Kayak or a double, this depends on you to decide. For this trip, the departure time has to be announced after the customer has selected a specific date. This is because, we depend on high tide to perform the kayak tour. You can tell us which day you are interested in doing our mangrove kayak excursion and we will let you know the exact time departure.
If you are staying in Manuel Antonio or in Quepos and you do not have a vehicle, do not worry as we provide free round trip transportation. A local Costa Rican meal is also included.
